NICOLE NEFFSales Associate, REALTOR®
Nanaimo Real Estate Agent
British Columbia Canada
Nicole started her foray in real estate at 18; arranging financing and a partnership agreement for her siblings and cousins to buy their grandfather’s eight-unit apartment building. After earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Nicole worked in her family-owned luxe-kitchen design business. At Neff Kitchens, she had one eye on growing the business and her other eye on remodeling rental properties. In 2006, she followed her efforts and built a cottage in the Muskoka region of Ontario where she gained the experience building recreational properties using modular construction techniques. She became an authorized builder for Guildcrest Homes in North Bay, Ontario and No#1 builder, five years in a row.
She believes their success was attributed to the team’s ability to thrill clients with their service. Her approach to helping people evolved into a solid reputation within the community and surrounding area for using a straight-forward approach with their clients and, for going above and beyond their expectations. During this leg of her entrepreneurial journey, Nicole grew her home-construction portfolio to build 108 homes, two multiplex buildings, a pool of skilled tradespeople and a large book of satisfied clients. In 2014, Nicole decided to hand over the reins of her business to another builder so she could join family in British Columbia.
Growing up as the ‘tomboy’ in the family, you’ll often see her reeling in the biggest fish, four-wheeling in the bush and in sports, she’s the most competitive on the field. You’ll see her rough housing with her nephews in a game of flag football and parring the most difficult hole for that free beverage at the clubhouse! When not in a physical or virtual office, you can find Nicole giving back to the community. She volunteers at Helping Hands, a local organization that assists seniors and persons with disabilities. Depending on the season, she’ll also spend most weekends volunteering at a hockey arena or on a baseball field with her boyfriend Steve and his four kids.
