Born and raised in the beautiful coastal city of Nanaimo, Brian’s journey began at Wellington Secondary School, where he laid the foundation for his future success.
Eager to pursue higher education and expand his horizons, Brian moved to Vancouver after high school to attend the prestigious British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). There, he honed his skills and gained valuable knowledge in engineering, setting the stage for an exciting professional venture.
Following his time at BCIT, Brian embarked on a transformative journey to San Francisco, California, where he worked at a renowned engineering firm for a year. This experience broadened his perspective and provided invaluable experience.
However, a deep-rooted passion for real estate beckoned Brian back to Vancouver, where he embarked on a fruitful eight-year career in the bustling downtown and west side markets. Thriving in the dynamic and competitive industry, Brian leveraged his exceptional negotiation skills and keen market insights to establish himself as a trusted advisor for clients, navigating them through complex transactions and securing their dream homes.
Seeking a new challenge, Brian and his wife decided to channel their shared enthusiasm for fitness into a business venture. Together, they opened a CrossFit gym in Vancouver’s west side, attracting everyone from people beginning their athletic journey to former professional athletes and national-level weightlifters. With their expertise and dedication, they transformed the lives of their clients, inspiring them to reach new heights of physical fitness and personal achievement.
In 2020, Brian’s love for his hometown led him back to Nanaimo, where he decided to reignite his real estate career. Armed with extensive experience, an unwavering work ethic, and an innate understanding of the local market, Brian is committed to helping individuals and families find their perfect homes while providing exceptional service every step of the way.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Brian enjoys doing strength training and CrossFit daily. He volunteers on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Vancouver Island as he believes it is a vital program for kids in the community. Brian loves exploring Nanaimo and the rest of the island with his wife and kids, whether it’s convincing his daughter to ski one more run before going in for pizza at Mount Washington, chasing his son into the ocean at Blueback beach after he’s already changed, or convincing his wife that the Tom Brady poster really ties the living room together. Above all, Brian’s love for Nanaimo shines through in every aspect of his life as he cherishes the vibrant community and all it has to offer.
