Josh has called Nanaimo home since 1984, and has always loved the island for it’s incredible scenery, beaches and countless options for exploring. After completing his Bachelor’s of Commerce degree from UBC with a major in marketing in 2001, he decided to swap his stuffy office cubicle for a life at sea beginning in 2002. Starting out as a DJ on Princess Cruises, he worked his way up to Assistant Cruise Director before starting his dream job as an Art Director and Auctioneer for Carnival Corporation in 2004, working alongside a team that generated hundreds of millions in annual art sales across six brands, including Carnival, Princess, Holland America and Cunard.
After visiting almost 90 countries, Josh felt the island beckon once again, and in 2013 he returned home to work in advertising, where he helped thousands of clients develop their media presence in both print and digital formats. Some of the clients he worked with directly include Shaw, RBC, TD, Nissan, FortisBC, BC Ferries, Helijet, Harbour Air and many more.
In 2020 Josh was thrilled to join RE/MAX of Nanaimo as a licensed REALTOR®, and he looks forward to doing all he can to make your buying or selling experience a very memorable one.
When not busy working, Josh can be found on his Harley Street Bob, affectionately named “Holly”, paddle boarding on one of the island’s many lakes, cooking, spending time with friends and family and working out at the gym.
