Social Media Marketing Assistant

To be a successful you must have strong writing skills, skilled in Canva, and a keen desire to stay up to date on current social media trends. Photo editing experience and graphic design an asset. You will be responsible for staying up to date on the latest social media trends, compiling social media analytics, as well as creating and execution social media calendars.

  • Plan and schedule content in advance for real estate brokerages and REALTORS®

Responsibilities

  • Unique content creation
  • Update content/editorial calendars
  • Conduct market research and analyze
  • Prepare and deliver Zoom presentations
  • Create dynamic social media campaigns and posts
  • Support marketing team in organizing various projects
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc.)
  • Develop trusting relationships with REALTORS® and Leadership team
  • Draft and execute social media proposals and communicate directly with clients
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Assist in the organizing traditional or digital events, campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success

Requirements

  • WordPress, Adobe, Illustrator & Photoshop an asset
  • Good understanding of office skills and marketing principles
  • Experience as a Marketing Assistant or Social Media Strategist
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Expert knowledge of all social media platforms for consumer brands
  • A degree in Marketing/Communications or a related field is a strong advantage
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Social Media Strategist in a corporate setting
  • BSc in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design or relevant field is a strong advantage
  • Have experience establishing and executing Social Media Strategy within a company
  • Expert knowledge on Social Media analytics with ability to produce robust weekly reporting
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Marketing computer software and online applications (Analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Solid experience using all Social media platforms for marketing initiatives such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube & Vimeo etc.
