Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Shayna’s favorite thing about the West Coast is the fact that there is beauty and potential around every corner! Shayna grew up extensively involved in Nanaimo sports and enjoyed playing on travelling teams playing in soccer and softball tournaments as far as Hawaii and California. Outside of work, Shayna loves spending time out in nature with her spouse and son, going on hikes, beachcombing, and taking road trips to beautiful beaches. Prior to pursuing her real estate career, Shayna managed four restaurants in the Central Vancouver Island area where she developed important skills such as diligence, determination, and excellent customer service that are crucial to the real estate industry. She is eager to help clients reach their real estate goals and will always provide honest advice, market knowledge, and attention to detail.
Shayna’s journey towards becoming an agent began in 2017 when she started working as an Unlicensed Client Care Manager for a local agent at RE/MAX of Nanaimo. This role was a crucial step in her career as it allowed her to gain much-needed market knowledge and appreciate the importance of an agent in what is usually the biggest financial decision of a person’s life. By working closely with clients, Shayna gained a thorough understanding of the unique and remarkable role that an agent plays in successfully navigating a complex deal. Her experience in this position helped her develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a successful agent in the future.
